Thanks, TIME
"...because when everyone is special, no one will be." Syndrome, The Incredibles.
A line from an animated movie sums up how ludicrous TIME's Person of the Year choice better than any pundit I've heard. Brainless, senseless, nutless, gutless. 'Nuff said.

ABC's World News Tonight manages to find a notable person every Friday as their "Person of the Week." This week was a man who runs an organization in Texas that brings Christmas to thousands of needy children. He is more qualified to be Time's Person of the Year than Joe Schmo who fails to use a turn signal in traffic. If they had to go with broad generalities, why not choose the U.S. Soldier? This has been a year filled with amazing highs and terrible lows for every soldier.
I have to go sit by the phone for Time to call for an interview - as I'm person of the year. Cowards.
