Hillary Ono

I wish I could give credit to whoever came up with this analogy, as it makes its point beautifully.

If Hillary Clinton should be credited with White House and national security experience, we have to accept that Yoko Ono was one of the Beatles.

But Yoko actually was a Beatle. In the sense that she appears on the Beatles records ("Birthday" "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill") and she jammed with them frequently during the Let It Be/Get Back sessions in Jan. 1969. There are further examples, but I'm too tired to look them up for you. Anyway, that makes her more of a Beatle than, say, I am.

Yoko was always the coolest Beatle...

The semantic point is well made. She did jam with them, and she is heard in the aforementioned songs.

That said, I would not consider her a Beatle any more than I would consider Marianne Faithfull a member of Metallica.
