If it wasn't for the fact that it's just politics, I would be astounded. Politicians have no memory and no shame. In 10 years, when the batteries from all these hybrids contribute to toxic waste dumps the size of Texas, Al Gore will come out with an excuse only a politician could say with a straight face.
