Sadly, that doesn't seem that far-fetched to me. Gore has won an Oscar and the Nobel Peace Prize already for his tireless campaign to have everyone but him fight global climate change. I bet he flew coach and took a Prius to the....sorry, I'm laughing to hard to finish the cheap shot.

Back up...the Nobel Peace Prize? Ah. Of course. The one or two degree change in mean surface temperature will have a corollary effect of longer growing seasons, yielding more food across the globe, which will lead to starvation and conflict...

He read the IPCC report, right? Oh well, why let facts get in the way of a good award ceremony?

In all fairness, it is a meaningless award after Kofi, Carter, and Arafat have won...but still. I'd like to have a couple illusions of grandeur in the world.
