Phils in the playoffs?!?!

Wow...Let the record show that for the first time in 14 years, the Philadelphia Phillies made me smile. I refused to watch baseball for years after the strike, and have seen only a half dozen games since '94.

Right up until this year, the Phils have done everything in their power to drive fans away. 10 years of sub .500 seasons, inept player personal departments, firing managers, rewarding non-performers, the list of this organization's sins against the fanbase, and against common sense borders on legendary.

Despite the manager, and despite the lackwitted ownership group, the Phils are in. I haven't been this happy about a baseball game since the Yankees redefined choke.

Guess who's back

Yes, gentle readers, another lengthy hiatus comes to a close. This page will return with all the things that amuse, boggle, and infuriate me in short order. I've not vented my spleen here is some time, but we have weddings, moves, job situations, oh my!

There may also be a heavy dose of family inspired rants, and I would bet on more abuse piled on my favorite whipping boy, the human race.
