Not in the NY Times, but Good News in Iraq

Mosul is being cleared out, and Iraqi forces are now in charge of security in 10 of the 18 provinces. In my not always humble opinion, Iraq will soon work out a national oil profit sharing deal that will bring about something akin to nationalism instead of the old tribalism.

With an improving economy and a military more able to stand alone, we will be able to withdraw shortly. The funny thing is, the next president, who will have had nothing to do with this, will get the credit for getting us out.
